Adai Dosa - Ingredients:

Raw Rice 1 Cup
Bengal Gram split  Cup
Black Gram split  Cup
Green Gram split  Cup
Red Chilies 8  10 nos
Green Chilies 4  6 nos
Large Onions, Chopped finely 4
Coriander leaves or Dill or Mint leaves, Chopped 1 tbsp
A pinch of Asafoetida
Salt to taste
Half fresh Coconut, Grated
Oil for roasting
Adai Dosa - Directions:
  1. Soak all grams and Rice for 5 hours. Grind the grams, Rice, Green Chilies, Red Chilies, Salt and Asafoetida to a smooth batter. Mix well cover and keep overnight in a cool place to ferment.

  2. Before making Adai Dosa, add Onions, Coconut and Coriander leaves. Heat a tava(griddle) and grease it generously. Now, pour one ladleful of batter on the tava(griddle) and roast both sides till it becomes golden in color.

  3. Serve hot with chutneys ,Butter, Pickles or Tomato Ketchup.
