Alu Matar - Ingredients:

shelled green peas 400 gms
onion sliced 1 
ginger paste 1 tsp. 
garlic paste 1 tsp. 
turmeric powder 1 tsp. 
chilli powder 1 tsp. 
cumin powder 1 tsp. 
coriander powder 1 tsp. 
large potato, cooked 1 
salt or to taste
coriander leaves a few
Refined oil 1 tbsp. 
Alu Matar - Directions:
  1. Heat oil in a pan .

  2. Saute the onions, ginger and garlic, together with

  3. cumin and coriander powders for few minutes until onion is cooked.

  4. Add potato, green peas, turmeric and chilli

  5. powders and salt together with half a cup of hot water and cook on medium low heat until peas is cooked completely.

  6. Garnish with coriander leaves.
