Chakli - Ingredients:

plain flour or maida 2 cups
dhuli moong dal (yellow)  cup
sesame seeds 2 tsp
ajwain 1 tsp
jeera seeds  tsp
red chili powder  tsp
oil to fry
salt to taste
Chakli - Directions:
  1. Cook moong dal in pressure cooker.

  2. Now tie maida in a cloth and put it in a separator in pressure cooker without putting whistle and steam it for 15 minutes.

  3. Cool it till room temperature, beat the flour with serving spoon and then sieve the maida to avoid lumps.

  4. Prepare dough by mixing all ingredients.

  5. Knead the dough well otherwise chakli may break.

  6. Strictly dont add extra water while preparing dough.

  7. Now take a chakli mould and press little dough in to it.

  8. Prepare concentric circles of it.

  9. Use all the dough.

  10. Place all these chaklis on thick plastic paper.

  11. Heat the oil in a heavy pan on medium heat.

  12. Put chakli in preheated oil and fry it on low to medium flame.

  13. Fry it till golden brown.

  14. Cool and store them in a air tight container.

  15. Serve it with a cup of hot tea.
