Chicken Yakhini - Ingredients:

chicken 500 grams 
curd(yoghurt) 1 cupgreen cardamom powdered 1
red chilly 1 
bay leaf 1 
clove 1
cumin seeds 1/2 tsp 
garam masala 1/2 tsp  
fennel seeds 1/2 tsp 
dry ginger powder 1/2 tsp 
cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp 
oil 1 tbsp
salt to taste.
Chicken Yakhini - Directions:
  1. Heat oil in a kadai . When the oil is very hot add the cumin seeds.

  2. Saut till its golden brown and add the bay leaf, cloves, red chilly and saut briefly.

  3. Add the chicken pieces and saut till it begins to give out oil. This will take around five minutes.

  4. Then put in the fennel seeds, dry ginger powder, cloves, cardamom powder and fry for a while.

  5. Then add the beaten curd and stir well. Add half a cup water and keep stirring till it begins to boil.

  6. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or till the chicken becomes tender.

  7. Pour the garam masala and keep it covered till you serve so that the aroma is still kept inside.
