Lentil Soup - Ingredients:

masoor dal (washed) ¾  cup 
sliced onions 3 
cloves crushed garlic 4 
chilli powder ½ tsp
tomatoes 3
oil 2 tsp
salt to taste
lemon juice
Lentil Soup - Directions:
  1. Heat the oil and fry the onions for 1 minute. Add the garlic and chilli powder and fry again for ½ minute.

  2. Add 6 teacups of water, the tomatoes, masoor dal and salt and cook in a pressure cooker till the first whistle.

  3. When cooked, blend in a mixer.

  4. Boil for 5 minutes.

  5. Serve hot with lemon juice .
