Basmati rice 2 cup
Dessicated coconut 1 cup
Green mango chopped 1/2 cup
Asafoetida a small piece
Turmeric 1/2 tsp.
Curry leaves a few
dal 1 tsp
Black gram 1 tsp
Ghee 1/2 cup.
Chillies 6
Mango Rice - Directions:
Soak dal and black gram dal for some time.
Boil the rice strain and spread on a tray.
Peel the mango and cut it.
Grind together with mustard,asafoetida,turmeric 4 chilli and salt.
Add them to boiled rice and mix.
In a pan fry dal and black gram with ghee.
Add 2 chillies. Add curry leaves.put to rice and mix.
Serve hot with salad or pickle.
