Rice 2 cups.
Dessicated coconut 1 cup
Peeled Green Mango chopped cup.
Dried Chillies 6
Mustard tsp.
Salt to taste.
Asafoetida a small piece.
Turmeric powder(haldi)1/2 tsp.
Curry leaves a few.
Dal 1 tsp.
Black gram 1 tsp.
Ghee cup.
Mango Rice - Directions:
Soak dal and black gram for some time .Boil the rice strain and spread on a tray.
Grind mango together with mustard ,asafetida,turmeric,and four chillies and salt.
Add them to boiled rice and mix.
In a pan fry dal and black gram with ghee.
Then add the remaining 2 chillies.Finally add the curry leaves. Put into rice and mix
Serve hot.
