Moussaka - Ingredients:

Butter 3 tbsp
Onion 2
Minced Beef 1 kg
Tomato sauce 1 tbsp
Potato 1/2 kg
Tomato 1/2 kg
Plain flour 1/2 tbsp
Milk 1 tsp
Egg yolk 1
Grated cheese 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Moussaka - Directions:
  1. Heat 1 tsp of butter in frying pan.Chop onions and fry in butter.

  2. Stir in beef and cook for 15 minutes stirring frequently

  3. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Add tomato sauce and stir.

  5. Put in a greased dish.

  6. Peel and slice thinly.

  7. Melt one tsp of butter in a frying pan and fry potatoes till slightly brown colour.

  8. Arrange Potato slices in a layer over beaf.

  9. Leave the butter in pan.

  10. Dip tomato in boiling water for two minutes.

  11. Remove skin.

  12. Melt 1 tsp of butter and fry tomato for three minutes.

  13. Put tomato on the top of potato slices.

  14. Turn on the oven and heta it at 480 degrees F.

  15. Melt remaining butter.Stir flour for 2 minutes. remove from heat and add milk.

  16. Bring the mixture to boil.

  17. Simmer for 3 minutes.

  18. Season with salt and pepper., then stir with egg yolk.

  19. Mix chesse and spread over tomato in dish.

  20. Sprinkle with rest of chesse.

  21. Bake in oven for 40 minutes.Until golden brown.

  22. Serve hot.
