Rava 2 cups
Onion 2(chopped)
Green chilly 3
Mustard seed 1 tsp
urad(uzhunnu) dal 1 tsp
Coconut grated 1/4 cup (optional)
Cashew nuts 15 (optional)
Ghee or butter 2 tsp (optional)
Oil
Salt
Curry leaves
Rava Upma - Directions:
Heat the rava in the dry pan until it becomes light brown.
Then take another pan and heat it with the oil, fry mustard seed and urud dal, then add chilly ,salt and chopped onion fry for 3 minutes, add 4 cups of water to it.
After boiling the water add rava slowly and continuously stirring, covered the pan until it becomes soft.
Now let it cool.
Shred the uppma into uniformly and add grated coconut and roasted cashew nuts and add 1 tsp of ghee and mix well.
