Sharkara puratti - Ingredients:

Banana skinned and sliced to half of a circle shape. 500
Oil for fring
Jaggery 1  cup
Ginger powder   tsp
Cumin seed (jeera)  tsp
Rice powder 2 tsp.

Sharkara puratti - Directions:
  1. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry banana slices till golden brown.Drain oil and keep aside.

  2. Melt jaggery in water and boil till it becomes thick.Then add fried banana,jeera,ginger powder.

  3. Stir carefully until banana is completely coated with jaggery syrup.

  4. Remove from heat and keep in air tight jars.
