Vegetable Fried Rice - Ingredients:

Basmati Rice 	1 cup
Carrot 	1/4 cup
Onion chopped 1/4 cup(optional)
Beans 	1/4 cup
Green peas 	1/4 cup
pepper powder 	1 tsp
garlic flakes 2 (optional)
Garam masala 	(curry powder)
Salt 	
Oil 	

Vegetable Fried Rice - Directions:
  1. Wash the rice and drain the water completely.

  2. Take a pan and add the oil. Bring to heat nicely and then add the rice and saut till the rice becomes semi crisp. Then add two cups water, salt to taste, cover it and cook till its done.

  3. The rice should not be sticky and should be separate from each other. Take a plate and put the cooked rice on it. Spread it evenly and let it cook.

  4. Take another pan and add some oil. When the oil is well heated add the onions and garlic and saut till they turn golden brown. Then add the vegetables, a little salt and saut for a while.

  5. When the vegetables are half done add the pepper powder and masala. Then add the rice and mix it all up nicely. The sauces should all blend evenly.

  6. Keep it for few seconds and stir continuously or else the rice will begin to stick at the bottom of the pan.

  7. Serve hot with Onion curd salad.
